The holiday spirit is in the air at the senior living campus of Exceptional Living Center of Brazil and Towne Park Assisted Living. The Centers will host a free campus-wide holiday open house celebration on December 20 from 6-8 p.m. that will feature reindeer, Santa's Workshop, and Elf Land.

Exceptional Living Center of Brazil and Towne Park Assisted Living had a blast supporting St. Vincent Clay Hospital's Backpack Program at their 14th Annual Festival of Trees. Throughout the year, St. Vincent Clay raises money and provides backpacks and school supplies for the children of Clay County.

AND WE HAVE A WINNER....Missy McCullough, our very own activities staff won the infamous Exceptional Living Center of Brazil pie contest with her homemade lemon meringue pie. It was a unanimous vote, selected by all four judges that Missy's was the best overall. This year we had more than ten pies entered into the contest. Every year during November, Exceptional Living Center of Brazil's team members bring in their favorite homemade pie in hopes of winning and having the bragging right all year as the BEST homemade pie. As you can imagine, this type of event does bring in quite the turn out from not only our staff but our residents as well. "It is never an easy decision because all the pies are wonderful, but Missy's had the best flavor. If I would have it my way they all would be winners," said Pauline, one of the four judges.
